What we offer

At Vaudin’s Funeral Services, we offer a comprehensive range of support to guide you through every aspect of arranging a funeral. From managing the often daunting documentation and legal requirements to carefully planning and supervising the day itself, we are here to support you at every step.

Our aim is to provide a professional, compassionate and dignified service, ensuring you feel confident that your loved one has received the farewell they truly deserve.

In addition to arranging funerals, we are also able to guide families in creating lasting memorials that honour and preserve the memory of their loved one. Since acquiring Bordage Monumental Works in 2023, we are able to offer a wide range of memorials together with restoration and additional inscription work on existing stones.

Whether you are arranging an elaborate ceremony or a simple, intimate service, we are here to help with care, experience and understanding.

Our Team

Jai Vaudin

Managing Director and Funeral Director

With over 30 years in the funeral profession, my journey began as a gravedigger before progressing to become a funeral director. That experience has given me a deep, practical understanding of every aspect of the service I provide.

For 20 years, I also served as a mortuary technician, further strengthening my knowledge and hands-on experience in the care of the deceased. This role required precision, responsibility and respect — values that continue to guide my work today.

I was proud to be the first in Guernsey to complete the Diploma in Funeral Arranging and Administration, and I am also a qualified embalmer. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism, and I was honoured to be named a finalist in the Customer Service Awards.

For me, this profession is not simply a job — it is a vocation.

My guiding principle has always been:

“Nothing is too much trouble.”

Luke Vaudin

Luke is proudly following in the footsteps of his father and currently serves as Guernsey’s gravedigger. He has recently joined the team at Vaudin’s Funeral Services to further progress his career within the funeral profession.

Luke brings with him valuable hands-on experience, a strong client focus, and a modern, compassionate approach to funeral care. His understanding of the practical and personal aspects of our work allows him to support families with both professionalism and sensitivity.

We are delighted to welcome him to the team.

Geoff Savident

Has been working within the funeral profession for several years, gaining experience in both funeral directing and coffin bearing. He is committed to maintaining a friendly and approachable manner, ensuring families feel supported while their current and future needs are met with care and understanding.

Nigel Le Marchant
