History and Values

Vaudin's Funeral Services was founded by Jai Vaudin and assisted by Nigel Le Marchant in 2016 when he decided to set up his own company after working in the funeral business since 1997. Vaudin's aims to bring dignity and respect to each service by offering above and beyond the conventional means. We also pride ourselves on focusing on the small details involved.

Managing Director and Funeral Director

Over 30 years in the trade,   Started as a gravedigger then progressed to a funeral director. The first in Guernsey to complete a diploma in Funeral arranging and administration He is also the an embalmer. A finalist in customer service awards.

Luke Vaudin

Trainee Funeral Director

Luke is proudly following in the footsteps of his father and currently serves as Guernsey’s gravedigger. He has recently joined the team at Vaudin’s Funeral Services to further progress his career within the funeral profession.

Luke brings with him valuable hands-on experience, a strong client focus, and a modern, compassionate approach to funeral care. His understanding of the practical and personal aspects of our work allows him to support families with both professionalism and sensitivity.

We are delighted to welcome him to the team.


Geoff Savident

Funeral Director

Has been working in the funeral trade for some time, both funeral directing and coffin bearing. Wishes to continue his client friendliness by fulfilling their current and future needs.

Nigel Le Marchant

Head Bearer

In charge of the team of coffin bearers, assistance within the workings of the funeral home, background support for the funeral directors.
